GEORGY MOLODTSOV
In 2008 graduated from VGIK (All-Russian State University of Cinematography, Russia, Moscow), non-fiction film study, course mentored by Emmy Award winner Sergey Miroshnichenko.
Georgy participated in Berlanale Talents 2007, Interaction Doc Camp 2007, Russia-Poland:New Gaze Exchange program 2005 and Russia-Netherlands: Local and Global Exchange Program 2005.
After graduating from VGIK, Georgy received MA in Film and Video in the School of Communication, American Unversity, Washington, D.C., USA (as a Fulbright Graduate fellow).
During his study in VGIK, he created several awarded short documentary films, inlcuding:
"MOBed" (Russia, 7 minutes, 2005)
"I AMsterdam" (Netherlands, 16 minutes, 2005)
"The Traces"(Poland, Russia, 28 minutes, with Galina Krasnoborova, 2006)
"Other Colors" (Serbia, 11 minutes, 2007, within Internation Zlatibor Camp)
"President of CC" (Russia, 26 minutes, 2008)
In parallel to his directing career, Georgy started to work with documentary industry as programmer for the documentary sections of the Moscow International Film Festival, acquisitions for documentary tv slot at TV Kultura, as well as served as Vice-President of the Russian Documentary Guild.
Currently, Georgy works as a creative producer and consultant on international documentary feature films and series.
